Cathy Vitale - State Delegate

Dear Friends:

It has been an honor and a priviledge to serve you on the Anne Arundel County Council for the past several years.  During my time on the Council, I have had an opportunity to work with so many wonderful individuals, groups and businesses towards a single common goal - To make Anne Arundel County a better place to live, work and play.  A place that we could be proud of, and one that we would want to raise our children and have them in turn, raise theirs.

Together we have accomplished a lot.   Government has learned to do more with less.  We have reduced the size of the work force without sacrificing services.  While other Counties were raising their property and personal income tax, I am proud to have been on the Council when we reduced the property tax rate.  The rate is lower now than it has been in ten years.  There has been no increase to our personal income tax, which means we save more of our hard earned dollars.  Funding is on the way to rebuild and refurbish our schools, reinforcing our commitment for quality schools in our communities.   Soon, schools like Severna Park High School will be able to provide a quality education in a quality environment. 

My constituents know that I am a hard worker, a good listener, and greatly involved in serving you.  I thoroughly research all the issues, evaluate each possible solution and consistently make choices for the people, not the politics.

As I seek to gain your support and your confidence to become your representative to the Maryland House of Delegates for District 33A, I want you to know that you can always count on me.  I will be there to listen, to learn, to help and to represent you, the citizens of Anne Arundel County.
